The estimate uses the current configured per-image charge. It does not include unrelated credit usage or represent an extra-credit purchase offer.
How API billing works
Successful requests
Each successful image uses the configured charge. Preview and full resolution use the same per-image charge. Read X-Credits-Charged on the response.
Processing failures
Failed processing is refunded. Refund reconciliation can take time; check your credit history before assuming a timeout is a new failed request.
Idempotent replays
Reusing the same key, image and parameters can replay a successful result within 10 minutes without a new charge. A replay repeats the original charge header and adds X-Idempotent-Replayed: true.
Subscription credits follow the billed period. One-time plans grant a finite credit amount, not unlimited image processing. Review account credit records for remaining balances and expiry.
