Change the color without changing the subject
Try a light blue for a profile image, black for contrast or white for a clean presentation. The background color sits behind the cutout; it is not a filter that recolors your clothes or product.
Bring your own background image
Upload a studio, room or another background you are allowed to use. The editor covers the canvas with that image, so its edges may be cropped to fit. Choose a scene with a perspective and lighting that suit your subject.
Finish the cutout first
Inspect hair, shoulders and small openings before adding a new setting. Erase and restore help refine the automatic mask. This tool does not generate backgrounds from a prompt or create realistic new shadows.

Can I upload a custom background?

Does it generate AI backgrounds?
No. Use a solid color or upload an existing background image.
Will my whole image turn blue or red?
No. The selected color is placed behind the separated subject. Check any translucent or missed areas before downloading.
